Odd bulb out!

Post by Boomlander »

In case anyone else comes across this problem the ignition warning light bulb in a series two Moggy is definately a 2.5 volt .5watt mini screw torch bulb.
I removed the 12 volt bulb that was fitted and not working and replaced it with one of the above and lo and behold there was light!
If anyone has difficulty finding these bulbs please contact me through the club messaging system.

The ignition light unit has a tightly coiled thin wire around it which I assume accts as a resistor or something technical. The white and yellow wires also attach to the same terminal
