Mmmmmmm. There are lots of roads I would like to burble along in one of those.
If only fuel were 1/20 the price it is.

Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

Re: Latest addition to the fleet.
Very, very nice
Just a bit of a shame they never made any V8 manuals of the P5. Alas, fuel costs these days do somewhat reduce the appeal of cars like this if you want to do a reasonable annual mileage in them. What sort of use do you intend for this one?
The Rover P4, P5 and P6 are IMO some of the finest cars ever made. I'd love a P4, but I'm continually tempted by 4cyl P6s which are criminally cheap and very usable.

Yes, being considered if the mileage creeps up too high...oh, by the way Roy, the tool kit is present and correct ! Thanks to all for the positive comments.bmcecosse wrote:Absolutely lovely - well done. LPG gas conversion is the way forward.......

Have a soft spot for the old P5 3.5 - my grandad had a silver and maroon 68 coupe - HUG 128G - absolutely lovely to be a passenger and the smell of leather - amazing. Keep us posted on the joys of ownership

Don't waste your money on an LPG conversion. This government won't be long in raising the tax on LPG now that it has become popular!
