re-making door cards

hi all, has anyone re-made their door cards? mine look like they have been removed a few times and sit out around the edge. I was going to remove the material, cut new plywood and the vinyl back on (more to it than this I know). has anyone attemped this, any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated. cheers

I changed the interior of my Traveller leaving me with two good condition but badly stained door cards which I recovered in green material and used in my Series MM. I made new triangular footwell panels from hardboard for both cars
