Rear wings for a series 2

Post by brimar »

I have a 1955 series 2 which has indicators fitted. My question is, I need new rear wings but would like to keep the flashing indicators. What wing would be the best? can I purchase new later model wings with the hole for the small round indicator already fitted? or do I have to cut the extra hole myself? I do not wish to purchase the 'proper' wings due to expence. The rear light fitted to my car at present look like the car(s) shown on page 32 of the current Minor Matters.

If originality isn't worth the large price difference to you, just use the later 1000 rear wings. You will probably have to drill holes for your light fittings and possibly fill the existing holes for the larger 1000 indicator base.

Thanks for that, the 1000 wings are much cheaper.
