ello muckers, got a knocking coming from brakes i think, when i brake get a light knocking,any ideas wat to look for? seems to work ok,cheers steve

a knocking coming from brakes
Probably badly worn /broken off brake shoe (or *brake pad) friction material. Check them ASAP as you can easily ruin your drums (or *discs) and might suffer from sudden brake failure on one side.

* - if you have disc brakes

hiya chris, took rear drums off tonite, lot off dust,cleaned and adjusted,ill check the fronts tomorrow,cheers mate

check the TIE-RODS especially at the suspension arm end where
there could be play in the metal to metal connections.

right lads,offside front ,eyebolt/torsion bar bolt/nut loose+ shoes needed adjustment,anyway when braking ,no knocking,thanks for input ,steve
