Ignition Timing

Post by moggyman64 »

Hi All,

I have read in Haynes that the static timing for a 131 2 ltr should be 10 degrees BTDC, but I have also read somewhere that is should be 7.5 degrees BTDC.

Am I correct in thinking that ignition and static timing are the same thing.

I will be running on 95 unleaded, therefore what is the correct setting?

Regards

Keith
