Interested in finding out the history of your Minor?

You can obtain a heritage certificate from Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre. For a fee (currently £42) they will trace your car from the chassis number and provide a certificate showing details of your car's original specification as it left the factory - engine number, body number, specification, exterior colour, trim colour, date of build, date of despatch, destination (dealer) - and also other details if recorded eg key number, gearbox number and rear axle number:

If you live near enough to Gaydon you can also take a look at the factory records yourself by booking a slot in the ‘Reading Room’. Contact number: 01926 645076.

If you want to find out details of previous owners the DVLA will provide these (if contained within their records). You will need to complete a V888 enquiry form (fee currently £5):
