ring gear fitting
bang it on the barbi for about 30 min .in the colder months make sure your burning propane gas, orange bottle. butane, blue bottle burns slowly at the colder temps and freezes at 0c.check the temp if you can with a probe. i got mine on at 299c. eazy pezy.

Domestic oven (which you were advised to use) goes up to 250C which is plenty to do the job..........

yes i know. the domestic belongs to her, or so i am told, and the barbi is mine. what better way to spend an afternoon with your friends and have a beer cooking a ring gear knowing your not going to get the 3rd degree from her indoors. a most enjoyable afternoon

Hi
along with all the above heating methods which will work well. If you bung the flywheel in the freezer for a few hours covered with a plastic bag ( to stop it freezing to anything!). The flywheel will contract and make it even easier!
Might help with keeping the barbie food cold!
