GAS, have you got a spec on that ratrod?
morrisfixer, this was in Retro Rides was it not? What's going on with the traveller? What was it running?
mrgreg, are these your off-roaders? They are very cool
I think we should sort out a modded minor show at some point . Don't tell the guys with standard cars

The spec on the rat is the usual suspects.1275 engine, spax up front, antiroll bar, marina disks with MGB calipers, standard box with a 3.9 diff.....oh and big pimpin rims
Drives like a honey this little car.Still can't believe I conned it away from my mate Andy

Hi ratrodmog,
Yes the two door Morris was in Retro cars magazine. The traveller I built about 15 years ago it had a 2l fiat twin cam with
marina front discs and ford fiesta rear discs, 6x14 revolution alloys, grey smoked glass and RS turbo recaro seats, Amond green paint. Sadly it came to a abrupt end I skidded on diesel coming off a round a bout then hit a lamp post, wiping out a road sign then ended up against 2 telegragh poles Thankfully I got out the car without a scratch but the car was written off .
That's a brilliant idea about a 'Hot Mog show'

Morrisfixer would only use this show to pester others about his plastic van project
But A hot moggy show would be great,i'm in

dantournay, excellent pics. Btw what is your signature pic? A strange thing has come of this thread. It seems that there are a lot of people that would attend a 'modded' minor show. I will look into how to organise this or if anyone knows where to start then please let me know as I wouldn't mind sorting it out, if you guys want?

And in response to mmjosh, the problem with the nationals is generaly their location (amongst other things that have been widely discussed). I think for a modded minor show to be success we need a track for people to show what there ride can do(i.e haynes last year) and to head in the same route as the VW and retro car shows e.g live music and (please don't shoot me) a 'younger' vibe. Although I would be all up for organising a display at the national but I personally feel we (as a group of inthusiasts) could pull off an awesome custom show. All ideas welcomed

Yeah, I think it would good to piggy back it with something like the Santa Pod retro show or the Hot Rod Drags. Somewhere with a track
