Rusty doors and limited funds

Post by fablovely »

Hi y'all,
I'm still trying to get my Traveller's rusty front doors sorted. The quotes from door people (shops) so far have been more than I can afford. Bar the doors, a respray and some detail the car's nearly done (fingers crossed.)
I'm based in West Wales and sometimes London. If anyone knows of a good door person, or a door patch up person, then please will you let me know? Also of any secondhand doors going.
My Traveller's Glacier White (at least it was once apon a time) and was manufactured in 1971.
Happy spring to all

The usual fix for doors is to cut off the lower outer part, and weld in repair panel. Not easy. I have been looking on ebay for ages for a set of 4 doors, but they are rare.
