No but I have seen one with a Cosworth, Cam has a picture of it posted under the National Rally pictures from last year.
Cheers

Actually it's not as fast as you would think. Apparently the 1/4 mile times are a bit poor. I don't know myself but that's what I have been told.

has anybody thought about the twin rotor ****** engine from an RX7/RX8 - i know someones done it with a midget...... very light, very high revving, but probably not that much torque....

Yes Matt, I wouldn't say it's common, but there are a few over here with this mod.
All sorts seem to be fitted here, last year I saw a Minor with a Subaru flat four in it - seemed quite a nice fit.

It was designed for a flat four.
Interesting that one of the shortcomings of the Minor's handling is it's willingness to run wide on bends. With a flat four, the engine would be shorter and further back and would help with this handling problem.
Issigonis really was light years ahead of the competition 8)
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

Indeed it was! but an 800cc or 1100cc unit, not a 300BHP 2L Turbo unit!!

That could be interesting if a little expensive! Mind you, I bet there are a fair few scoobys written off in the breakers yards..........

Don't get too excited Cam!! :D :D
It wasn't one of the turbo jobbies, but I suppose that's only the next step. I assume the Subaru stuff is similar to VW in that the outside appearance of different cc engines is nearly the same.

Don't worry Scott! Too many current projects and lack of funds would stop me well before any technical issues!!
