No number plates or chassis plate though, and no mention of a V5, so getting it registered may be a problem.

Looks like a much better bet than the 1st one.

The Cheshire Constabulary used Morris Minor 2 door saloons prior to about 1965. They were black and fitted with an illuminated box Police sign on the roof (there was no stop sign) They were not fitted with radio, except two used on remote detached beats. Main use was as general purpose/supervision cars and on residential detached beats. I understand that later they used Minor saloons, and Travellers in blue and white as unit beat police vehicles. The Force does have a museum at Warrington which has a collection of photographs for the historically inclined.
