Changing the locks on a 4door saloon

Ok, my problem is the locks are so worn that you can get in and start my car with any key, as long as its small enough, i can even remove the key and keep driving...

I have a new lock and barrel set for the car but i would like to know how to remove the lock barrel from the door, i tried to remove the handle and had trouble getting the thing out of the door, any ideas, on how to do this succesfully?

I can remove the boot handle, and it think i could possible replace the loc barrel with a bit of work, and the ignition would probably be ok,

any help would be smart ive tried searching the forum for this but not found anything yet. if you know of an old thread please link it to save adding a duplication of instructions.

on the front door , tou have to remove the door tops, or get them high enough to remove the handle
once out it is simply push a small out and the lock barrel pops out
