Temp Gauge

Just a quickie....
Does it matter which terminal is live and which is to sender ( I assume that's the correct contacts) as my gauge that I am fitting isn't marked?

It probably doesn't matter as it's likely to be a 'hot wire' device that simply moves due to heating effect as the current rises. So not important which way the current flows through the meter. Do a trial assembly off the car and see what happens !

All working lovely now... I either "guessed" right first time (unlikely for me) or it matters not which way round the connections go

Go on - swap them over and see if it still works the same !
