my baby is gone :(...and now found!!! yippeeee

Post by amy »

a couple of weeks ago my navy blue 1958(ish) 2 door morris minor 1000 saloon was slolen from outside my boyfriends house in redruth, cornwall...im extreemly upset about this and on top of it being gone my insurence company are now giving me greif about it as well!!!

all i want is my baby back!!!

its registration is 158XUE and has a cornish "kunt" sicker on the back under the number plate. also the rear left weel arch thingy is a bit crunched up...

thats all i can think of to define it really....it also has a Corsa "C'mon" donn in the rear right window.

if anyone sees or hears about anything that might be my moggie then please let me know...

my e-mail is smile_be_happi@hotmail.com.

thank you all.

Another one..... what on earth do people want with them. If it's the steel, then the merchants must be dodgy.

all registered scrap yards should be inspected every few days . all vehical numbers taken to trace all deliveries to them and nocars crushed until they have been checked.yes it would cost but judging high price of scrap they could afford it.we have lot of gipsys go past where i live they are making a fortune there are several of them that go by 6 days aweek fully loadedthey have to be on a grand aweek. and very little over heads, stolen deisel, pay no tax, they have been running past here for 2 years mabe longer. some of the transits acually have one car on top of another, and definatly not safe, apperantly we have the chinese to thank for the high price of scrap. i will shut up now i have had my moan about the didds

They are gd, you can't just crush a car without the V5 etc. All cars have to be disposed of legally such as the oil has to be drained and disposed of correctly. Cars generally have lots of un-environmentally friendly stuff in them a lot of scrap yards are closing as they can't support the latest legislative requirements.

I guess the way around it is to cut the thing up yourself. If you are doing this to lots of stolen cars at the same time someone will knock on your door eventually wondering what the noise is about! :D

no...this is cornwall...theres about one police person for the entire county!

but they are aware and its hard to miss with the big "kunt" sticker on the back...if they dont pick it up as a stolen car they'll be sure to pick it up for that :)

:D I think the Police situation is much the same everywhere - unless there's a royal in the county. Still, fingers crossed and (as I said) eyes open. Here's hoping it gets spotted
