Rear light wiring

Post by southerly95 »

Hi - the internal part of the rear lamp on our 65 convertible fell apart while I was checking to see why the light was out. This is the sidelight and brake light bit. The part that broke is made of a bakelite type of material with the two electrical wiring contacts pressed into it.

Are these available on their own does anyone know? Couldn't see them on ESM. Thanks, John

that part probably comes with the base. It might be worth making one from somthing that doesnt conduct.

Or take one out of a rear light for a Traveller - these are readily available and not expensive.
