Mirror

Post by Peetee »

Can anyone tell me if there is a anti-dazzle flip up mirror available for a mog. I have just driven mine in the dark for the first time and realised how indespensible these things are :(
Perhaps ones from a mini fit?

I don't know if a Mini one would fit, but I bet you could adapt one.

You have a lot of faith in my ability Cam.
I guess you're right though - find a mirror with a sturdy enough stalk - one that would take three holes drilled into it and there you have it.

If your mirror is fixed by three screws then it is the smaller,
higher mounted, early type. in October 1964 this was
changed to a plastic mirror which was larger and lower
mounted. I would think you could fix a dipping type to
this unit without too much trouble.

Did those later cars have dipping mirrors then?

NO. I meant that you should find something suitable in a
breakers yard which you could fix to the original mirror.
Velcro springs to mind!!!!
