Traveller carpets

Post by jgunson »

I've bought a set of carpets which I'm trying to fit. The only section which puzzles me is the section which attaches to the vertical face under the rear seat. If I place the carpet piece on the floor the top of the carpet is about an inch above the top of the vertical face of metal. Also attached to the top piece of the carpet is a one inch wide strip of vinyl fabric.
Does anyone know whether the carpet fabric should be lined up flush at the bottom or the top and where does the vinyl fabric attach to? :-?

well the top part of the carpet is supposed to fold over the top and screw in along the top underneath the rear seat, if that helps.

Does the carpet go over the hinge where it attaches to the body and under the hinge where it attaches to the seat base?
