Master cylinder parts interchangeability

Does the big plug from the end of the cylinder fit the filler hole? I,m thinking of fitting a remote reservoir and dont fancy blocking the hole in the original filler cap with araldite and as I,m putting a new master cylinder in any way, I just wondered?

Doubt it - but I will have a look at a spare one tomorrow.
