Wing Bolts

Post by d_harris »

Does anyone know what size the bolts holding the front wing are? Mine seems to have magically dissapeared during the resto process...

And has anybody got a few spares kicking about?

5/16" BSF. You'll need some big washers too. I might have some rusty old ones kicking about; I fitted all new on Fenchurch.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

The 'bolt fairies' will have borrowed them. Don't worry - they will return them about 10 minutes after you get the new wings fitted.

Sorry I havn't got any spares, but here's an offer Dan; I have a 5/16 BSF tap you can borrow to clean out the threads on the captive nuts.
As long as it comes back!

PM me you address and I'll pop it in the post.

Roger.
