bracing strap
I'm contemplating the fitting of a piece of 6mm steel plate, shaped to suit, inside the cab directly over the steering rack bracket bolts holes, the width of the floor wide, t be held in place by the rack bolts. This is in response to seeing some small cracks around the rack bolt hole area; I'm hoping this will spread the load in the future. I've repared the cracks but want to stop this repeating, anyone see a downside to doing this?
