Here is another chance if you missed out last time. I'm looking for a headlining/ screen fitter volunteer. To spend a day or two locked in my garage with me next week end Sat 28th or Sun 29th. or even the week after which is a bank holiday May 5th, 6th, 7th.
Usual rules loads of tea and cake and at least one square meal provided!
Seriously though I really could do with a hand if anyone has got any experience and doesn’t live to far away.
thanks, Roger.

Well I'm pleased to say I have put the roof lining in. I thought it was a hard job. The new wires arrived this morning and its now 6 pm and its done.
I had to fit it twice - it was a bit loose front to back the first time. I think thats because the modern vinyl backeked material is more pliable than the original canvas backed one.
I put it down to the following.
1) its the hottest day of the year
2) The car was completely empty so nothing was in the way.
3) I purchased some 1.5mm vinyl coated stainless steel wire rope. It is very smoth and flexible but has a 80Kg breaking stain.
So now its time for tea.
I'm going to leave it for a few days before I fit the interior light and trims to let it settle.
I've also fitted the window tops and windscreen and its only Tuesday!
I don't go back to work until next Tuesday so hope to see some progress.

Sounds good Roger, I always thought the headlining was supposed to be an awful job, but there again people said the quarterlight rubbers were... I found them as easy as fitting new spark plugs
Hope you're soon finished and back on the road
