Before I get killed by the women: I wasn't saying that anybody's hips look big, OK?Kevin wrote:Could be treading on thin ice Jim with that sort of remark.................
I just prefer it when the wheels fill the arches a little more. Makes the car seem more 'planted' on the road.

Re: Minor Gender Confusion
My Moggy is a female who is presenting as male (comfortable with things lol), in these enlightened times (Had name "Monty" when I bought him, er, her, so stuck with it). However, her curves are just to die for and she is truly gorgeous, she can be a diva at times and dare I say it has been known to be tempremental (so have I), so at the risk of causing some angst I give you Monty, who is unsure of what he/she is lol.

Re: Minor Gender Confusion
Can we have a 3rd option please? Neither.
Cars (and ships, planes, trains etc) to me are inanimate objects, machinery to do a job, nothing more. Whilst no two may be alike, they do not have personalities or feelings, gender or names.
So my vote would be for "it", if that was a choice.

Re: Minor Gender Confusion
I have always referred to the cars as "It" but as to the Traveller, since it is named after Oscar Blaketon, that would make it a him.

Re: Minor Gender Confusion
Mine has always been male and he is called Xavier. He is stroppy little so and so with a bit of a temper. He gets fed up when he is worked on for too long and has a tendency to bite and lash out resulting in me sustaining bruises and cuts. Sometimes he wakes up in a good mood and then unaccountably gets annoyed and plays up. In the 34 years that Xavier and I have been friends I have only recently successfully housetrained him so that he doesn't do his oil on the garage floor. I am not sure whether this learning will be permanent as he does tend to regress.
