Re: what other hobbies do minor members have ????
Have got loads of pictures, I think I might have to do my own thread sometime (so I don't hijack others) which could show the development over the 16 years. Depends if anyone is interested really?[frame]

that'd be a beam breaker for cutting the timing check point line thing. guessing if the over-riders were the front-most point, their irregular shape would be hard to determine where the exact front is!Matt Tomkins wrote:Also, is that a starting handle sticking out of the front bumper?

Re: what other hobbies do minor members have ????
Ive been doing archery on and off (on at the moment) since 1995, (7 years when I havent been shooting). Most of the time has been recurve, but I did barebow for a while as a junior and got a couple of hampshire records
But I also have a '95 transit that I am putting a 2.9 V6, tidying up and converting to a camper van, a mini and a couple of other cars

My main interest now is rock climbing. It is a mixture of a mental and physical challange. I also like it because I decide what risks I take, I can decide just what I do without any rules or regulations (for example when car building there are now too many regulations and when driving too many rules such as speed limits and traffic lights)

Re: what other hobbies do minor members have ????
i go rock climbing every know and then. well, bouldering to be precise. it's awesome! it's rock climbing without ropes, and a nice padded floor! you don't go very high (the place i go to is just a normal room's height) but you can go up certain routes, and when it's quiet, you can traverse sideways around the room!
i say i go every know and then. i go, then my arms ache for a week, then i put it off some more, and then i forget how much my arms ached so i go again, and then i remember how much it makes me ache!
turns out i'm quite suited to bouldering. i'm pretty light for my height, i've got reasonable upper body strength, i've got a technical, logical mind, and i'm pretty fearless, so i'll end up throwing myself at something i can't quite reach!
