I think it would look pretty cool if Kate traced around the fence shadows to give a nice two-tone effect :-)

It has been mentioned before that Minors were favored with the rallying crowd as they hold the road better with the steering and suspension differences, even though they were heaver than the Austins. With the power to weight ratio would the Austin cope? I would have thought it would make a lively little runner....
Why not run a 1098cc in the baby Austin

By the Rallying crowd you must mean Pat Moss & Granny.

But I am sure the Race Track crowd would disagree and I mean Graham Hill & John Sprinzel for example :o

Well I might go rallying in Baby. Two people reckon that it already has a 1098 engine in. :P

Yes, it was something Pat Moss mentioned in an interview for the 'Perpetual Motion' program the BBC did on the Minor back in the '90's. Something to do with the A30/35's being faster in a straight line as they were lighter but the Minors holding the road better when it came to cornering.

Does anyone know what type of battery an A30 uses? Would it be a 6V or 12V? What battery number?

Thanks!

I have a standard 12v one in my A35. sorry can't remember the number it's a long time ago, but you should be able to pick one up from either halfrauds or a motorists shop.

Ask at any normal motor factor they should be able to look it up and find you the correct battery.

She's a staffy. She wasn't bothered about the hand marks really!

I had her squeaky toy and she was barking for it. The picture makes her look viscious but she's really soft!
