Remind me of the location and date

If the trav is still in its current state I might have to bring it in the van (experiments will happen shortly) and I will kip in the van!

This year's National Rally will be at Kelmarsh Hall, Northamptonshire on the 7th and 8th of July.
Centrally located just off the A14 and approximately a 90 minute drive from London

As found on the National Rally page :P

Are you all camping with the website lot or do you have/want a special Commercial only spot?

It says on the application form, that camping facilities are basic... Does anyone know if there are showers and toilets? Just double-checking with the other half if she can make it and hopefully I'll be confirming in the next day or so.

Just to add to the above, I'd like to confirm please Onne.

And as since I haven't camped at or attended the National before, some more questions.

Once parked up, are you hemmed in by other cars or can you come and go as you please (by car). I plan to get there in the daytime, set up camp then pick up my wife from the nearest train station in the evening after work.

What sort of camping is it exactly, camping stove and self sufficiency or burger vans nearby?

Thanks,

Darren

DP -

There are always toilets - not sure about showers though but someone here will know.

When camping you are not hemmed in by other cars - just park by the side of your tent and you can come and go as you please. On Saturday / Sunday most cars are parked on the rally field but you can leave your car by your tent if you wish.

There are caterers on site if you don't wish to cook for yourself - the choice is yours.

Thanks Louise.

Oh, is there a convoy going up from London on Friday? ISTR you are in Wanstead.

And if anyone needs a lift or stuff taking up from London PM me. Can't offer a lift back though. Unless you're happy to be a bit squashed in the back since the front seats are a bit larger
