Just looked today at a '89 defender fitted with a rover v8 and auto box . The boss says I can only have it if I sell one of the minors. Tempting...

Its not so bad! I work on classic cars and drive wedding cars as my businesses. The Landy owner has a wedding car company that gets me and Dibble (convertible) lots of weddings. At least a Land Rover should be easy to work on!
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

I've just bought the '89 Defender! MOT was done in April and no advisories. Rover V8 and sounds faster than it is. Very exciting!

First big trip out today. Haven't driven one since the late eighties, but very familiar...like riding a bike again. Yes, I would have preferred an earlier one,but at £5k and 10 years history with bills nearly £20k seems better than money in the bank. More importantly it's fun...just like the others...and if the winter is as bad as forecast it could be useful. Only obvious problem is a weeping rocker cover gasket .

Easy to work on aren't they... And easy to get under despite arthritic knees.

No, an ancient iPad thing. I'm slowly catching up on technology.... 2 years ago I couldn't even do one finger typing. Thought I was so clever posting my first ever picture. Pride comes before a fall!

iPhone, iPad - all the same Apple stable. None of them can get pictures the right way up!
What you need to do is save the images to another medium. Use a picture viewing/editing piece of software that allows you to rotate the image. then re-save.
Post up that saved image.

Alternatively, get someone like me to save the images, rotate them, and then repost them - see below[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]

Thanks for the compliment! Distant ancestors were Aussie convicts so the accidental inversion was serendipitous. If I get the camera/posting thing sorted I'll try to post a picture of the whole fleet... The old Beetle is being painted this week, should get her back later this month... And I've been allowed to keep the '61 MM. Saloon because the Landy is too high to go in the garage! We only pass this way once so you have to have fun.
