Another good day so thanks to the Herts branch for all their efforts. The rain stayed away and, as always, there was plenty of tea, cakes and chat.

There was a good 'website' presence, with both 'old' and 'new' faces and a good turnout of cars. Thanks to Roger and Lou for the cakes :D and well done to all the websiters who won prizes.

Kevin was the 'official' photographer so might post some photos up later.

Yes, as usual the Herts branch put on a good rally. Thanks to everyone who was involved.

Sorry to hear Roger [Morrie Spares] is ill. Was missed at the rally. For himself and the spares.

Lovely to see the Bedford branch folk who will be joining in the website side of things soon. 'Raising their profile'.

Tea, cakes and grapes!

Off to bathe in aftersun lotion ..........

PS Hello to little Emily.

Glad you all enjoyed it and thanks to Roger for hosting the Website 'CAFE' even if I didn't get to it until just before 4 o'clock, I think the attendance was 71 cars along with our usual weather and after we had tidyed thing up we noticed that the Bedford Branch picnic was only just winding down so they must have had a good day and I will post a couple of photo's later today.
Cheers

Was a lovely day, great to see everyone who was there. Thanks for the coffee and of course the grapes. On the drive back I had a rather large bee fly up my trouser leg, luckily I was going through a village so was able to quickly pull over!

Behind the MGB & the A40 was the location for Rogers Website Cafe :D where at least a couple of gallons of tea were served along with a patio sized cake :o
fortunately this was a dead squirrel free zone

PS Hello to little Emily.
Emily enjoyed looking at the " 'iss Minors" very much indeed, and she also enjoyed playing football with her dad while her mum did the cultured thing (apparently there was a house in the grounds).

Really enjoyed yesterday, big thanks to the website chapter of the Minor Mafia for the hospitality/tea/cakes etc, really good to meet some new people and say hello to a few others from the site.

My Minoritis also appears to have taken on a worrying new phase - I found myself taking photos of engine bays :o .

Here is a photo of the Continental classics in Hatfield House's car park. The mad gold one was a Panhard Dyna.

I had a really great couple of hours there. Nice to put some faces to names. Thanks very much for the warm welcome and the cake! Some lovely cars on display, loved the matt black pick up! Sadly the uneven ground cause huge amounts of discomfort in the problematic fooot/ankle region and I had to hobble off. Will be back next year with cake orientated supplies of my own and hopefully maybe even a Minor too. I will try and post some piccies later. All the best. Ken

I'd love to have seen your reaction!
Well at first I just noticed it sitting on my leg and so I promptly flicked it down which led to it landing in my shoe then crawling up my trouser leg  I ended up just jumping up and down shaking my leg at the side of the road
PS Hello to little Emily.
I thought that was Andy's car

Dale, you've worried me now, I do hope it wasn't that on your BBQ. Know what you old country boys are like. :o
