I like the idea of the left nav but it does seem to steal a lot of screen space from
hmmm - the laft navigation is not new...
it is hard on the eyes

I like it. It certainly isn't hard to read on my monitor, or hard on the eyes. If there is no going back, I assume this layout makes it easier for the "behind the scenes people" to keep the site going.
John
It sto make it easier to differentiate one post from the next - the colour choice is just the way its set up - can be chancged to pretty much anything from the backend.
Guess whatever the choice was it wasnt going to please everyone, but hey the content & advice on here more than makes up for it whatever the colour scheme
I like it but agree with other comments - centre actual mesage area, loose PostNuke logo and maybe change message background from white to light grey.
Overall a lot better and thanks to whoever has spent all the time doing the work - it's an improvement and I assume the few "negatives" can be fine tuned over time.
yes I agree I like the new scheme , though I still like the white, maybe in concern to those who find it bright maybe change it to a light grey? Thanks again to all thos involving keeping the site up to date
Hey folks, please give the guy a chance. The change to the web has been requested by the National Committee and has been carried out by one person. Consequently it cannot all be completed in one attempt and will of course need "finetuning". However can I also point out that all this work is completely voluntary and has taken many hours of evenings.
So come on guys cut the Webgenie a bit of slack and lets just be grateful that we have a good site and can talk to all our fellow members all over the morris world and help each other with our problems/queries.
true true lou, in contrast to other clubs I think we have or the best or one of the best site, I personally find the beaord very helpful, as I don't find that much help anywhere else, and is mainly the only branch I can take part of so Thanks
Well done all your hard work is much appreciated.
I must be getting older it's not 24 hrs since the change and i'm struggling to remember what it looked like before.I know its in colour but It is still a silent movie isnt it? or should i invest in speakers for my computer?

I think everyone will Lou, and as second Web Editor I am ready and willing to help, Jon only has to say the word.
What a wonderful surprise! I reckon the new site certainly looks more modern than the old and is equally comparable to other forums I frequent.
As for the issues with size, (matron...) there's no trouble on my laptop, but that's got a 1680x1050 screen. Make the text clear and easy to read with plenty of space for content. However, I haven't got a clue what the writing on the bonnet flash is... I'm sure that in time the graphics side of the board and website to which it is now integrated will be improved and streamlined.
A big thumbs up! Well done.
Happy Minoring!
