I'd be tempted to go for the Alfa V6, because

1) It looks great

2) It sounds like 3 Ducati v-twins having a heated debate and

3) It's all alloy.

Apparently, it's not too difficult to hook up to a Ford type 9 box ,if you're able to make a bellhousing.

There was an article in Practical Performance Car a while back.
Oh yes, and you can pick up an Alfa 164 V6 in running order for about £200.

The Duratec is too wide at its base to fit the standard minor chassis, unfortunately. V6 needs a bespoke chassis. :(

Has anyone considered the suzuki grand vitara 2.5 v6. My mom has one and the motor is extremely short and compact. I'd say its about the same length as my 4age. Rear wheel drive too. EFI 4 cam motor.

I think most Honda Vtecs spin the wrong way except the S2000.

well having seen 2 versions of the Jazz in the flesh it was odd to find out that they had different engine rotation directions!
If they are still at it (which they are) then it means that each Honda engine variant will need to be double checked first!
