I think Matt checked for that and decided that it's probably the clutch. I will look into the clutch clinic places...perhaps they might accept one that I've bought and just fit it, when I get the dosh together...

I doubt that - they want to make the money from the parts as well as the labour. You may get a mobile mechanic to do it - but he really needs to get the car up in the air to be able to pull the box backwards.

The garage mentioned by Fab would be happy to fit a clutch kit she supplied.....

They do the union minibuses and I spoke to the guy today when he came to collect one
