Doubt he means a new setup exactly, more new calipers (and discs if required, which ought to be bought new anyway)
If you're paying someone to rebuild your calipers, it's going to cost more than buying recon ones I reckon, and there are silly times when new is cheaper than rebuilding old...
Main thing seems to be stick with what you've got, but repair, rebuild and replace where necessary to get them working, at least I think that's what the general sway of the thread is
That's per side. I wouldn't buy from the second of thosen ot because they're a bad setup, but because they're just a little on the pricey side.
ESM also have recon ones, about 43 plus VAT from memory.
As your van is off the road and the brakes need sorting, I'd personally take the calipers off and get the pistons out anyway, if you're lucky all will be well and you'll just have to get some bits to rebuild them, if you're not so lucky at least it's a bit more hands on learning about the various bits
but.... at the risk of being modded..... I won't buy anything from that company, sorry
No skin off my nose I'm curious as to why not, but I appreciate you may not be able to answer on here. Personally I wouldn't buy any more panels from them, after a shocking experience with an - EDITED for potential libel reasons

well.... totally understand if I'm modded for this but.... it was them who boshed up my van so badly before I bought it that it needed to be stripped back to bare metal
Most of the work they completed on my car was "ok" its just a shame they didnt do everything they charged me for. However on the plus side they did do various other extra bits and pieces that they didnt charge for. I do agree though that I wont be dealing with them again.

Like Andrew I've never heard anything bad about their bodywork - and have to say they were totally honest with me in-so-far as advising me about their prices and the only filler they used I told them to and they did say "it'll not last long" - but back then I was expecting to be able to replace the bit in a few months... :-/
Ah well, doesn't matter, since I get everything mail-order from ESM and Bull Motif these days... or my local motor factor
