Engine losing Power

You are probably OK if it was just a short 5 min drive and you drove gently. Not recommended, but I did once drive about 15 miles with a head gasket that was blown between cylinders 1 and 2. I drove very gently and the block was fine - and the new gasket has held for the last 9 years without issue.....
Fingers crossed it will be nothing more than the head gasket...........
