Vacuum take off on Minisport manifold

Well, a 3mm thick rubber washer under the filter box on the side nearest the manifold lifts the box enough to clear the banjo bolt, and the box still fits just enough into the carb air intake to seal, but that's with only one copper washer under the banjo bolt. Add another and it won't clear, but I might get away with filling a groove in the filter box.
Clearly this scenario has been envisaged, because there is a recess in the filter box a little further round, roughly where the take off would be if it was on the other end of the inlet manifold.
