Juddering at 60mph

You can't really reset the gap on those though, certainly not relative to each other!

Of which there is only ONE set....and therefore ONE gap .... ??

Absolutely. However as I turned the engine over the gap varied slightly depending on which cam lobe it was on. Mostly likely because it wasn't quite on the peak of one and was on another. It is now set correctly.

The dizzy bearings must be badly worn.....

Hopefully not as it's only had a couple thousand miles on it.

Well -if it's big gap one side and small gap the other....it's either worn, or bent! Or just v badly made I suppose.....

Is your vacuum advance pipe good as I had a poorly connected vacuum pipe which in turn caused a tiny judder on my Minor,(now the flexible clear pipe to carb is sealed airtight to the copper pipe with goo) The judder was just noticeable on deceleration during normal town driving, I didn't take it on M/ways at the time as id just bought it. Thought I would mention it as my logic being at 60mph your engine should be running at high vacuum dependant on the load/ terrain etc and a leak may cause noticeably erratic performance at this high rpm and its also a very simple easy thing to check!
