rorya95 wrote:still having trouble with finding the correct colour. I think its morris dark green, a colour that was only produced for a few years, anyone know of companies that will produce the pain using the original codes? or will it have to be paint matched?
also can anyone advise the best way to set about filling the trafficator slots?
any help would be greatly appreciated :)
I have found some new blanking plates with lights for this option.[frame]Image[/frame]
The bleu box is the original one;[frame]Image[/frame]
I think they should be available also in the UK.

thanks for the all the help really appreciated! the blanking plates pictured above would be ideal, seem to be having quite a lot of difficulty finding them though. if I don't have any luck i'll get the slots welded, thanks again!

welding them up will be a big job. just cut some plates out of steel or ally and fix on with mastic and screws

sorry just gone back through your post and seen you know its called dark green.
when I had mine painted 20+ years ago the paint code (gn12) meant nothing to the paint suppliers so I had to take a glovebox lid in to them to do a colour match.

hope this helps
