Have the best of both worlds and have duplex chain and chain tensioner.
You will need the following to achieve:
12G2621 Pad
12G2629 Pin
12G2628 Mounting plate
12G623 or CAM4868 or LJR10168 Timing chain cover
Spanner size

I advise against it - and confirmed by quite a few Mini lads. I tried it - the tensioner lasted about an hour of running before it shredded - the noise then was quite worrying......
