:roll: And how will you know it's the correct coil for the job? A simple multimeter from Maplins is all you need.

the coil on the car when i bought it could be the wrong one if i buy a coil for a 1098 at least ill know it will be right

Yes indeed - if you buy from a reputable supplier. But modern coils don't have a great reputation........

i normally order from esm,is it true that coils should be mounted on the inner bay because the function better upright than flat

Mine happens to be upright - but it shouldn't matter if they have been properly filled with oil.......

fitted new coil not getting hot now fingers crossed
