Re: How to put telescopics on with lowering blocks
Well thanks for the large response. Decided to stick with it for the time being, the only problem can happen if it's in the air whihc isn't going to happen with my driving. I checked the shackles and they are correct I can opt for longer van dampers, but I think once the springs and bushes have worn in a bit then there shouldn't be a problem. And the lowering blocks don't effect the positioning of the dampers after I studied more carefully.

Well -you obviously know something I don't - but never seen any with 4 clasps up to now.......... They must be non-standard springs ????

I never knew there was a right way round.
Probably a good job I'm not a surgeon or pilot!!

I find this approach works even if you substitute the word 'maths' for whatever you're worried about at the time.also, the maths is largely irrelevant. if it works it works, if it doesn't it doesn't.

What would Macgyver do..?

Correct springs have two sets of the clips - these go in front of the axle.

Makes sense so the 'opening' leaves dont collect crud. Something I've never really noticed though.

What would Macgyver do..?

Re: How to put telescopics on with lowering blocks
I guess with 4 sets of clips - the leaves must be much more constrained - which probably gives a harsher ride...
