I think working out the TPM will be the tricky part for me. Have no idea what the Datsun 210 motor cable turns at.
BTW - I also notice that none of those EBay auctions for used speedos I looked at said whether or not they worked.
Of course, I would have emailed the seller, but it raises a red flag not to have said anything.
I did come across a seller here in the US who was just as oblique in his auction description, and when I asked whether or not it worked, he said that he had not tested it. When I asked him to do the simple drill test to it, he said that he did not have time to do so.
Needless to say, I avoided that one!

Are all the number wheels the same apart from the colour of the numerals?
If they are just use one from the spare speedo to replace the worn one.
