I must be fair all the hard work and dedication to detail is all down to young Rich Legg  , I am a mechanic and am looking forward to doing all the mech bits :P , I already have a large stash of parts ie complete brake system in stock, so when it comes to bodywork / welding etc i no nothing :P

Now the B-post strengthener.

This is what it looked like previously, with a patch removed from the bottom.

New piece now made... Still needs a little feting before it's welded in, but you get the idea.

my pics from my moggie rebuild by Richy Legg, things coming on very nicely

Image

Spent the last couple of days doing the final prep for the 2 floor sections to go in, they're now in.
Welding the inside join for the outer floor edge.
Image
Image
Rear floor section in
Image
Front floor drilled for spot welds to chassis leg
Image
Anti rust paint for the section inside the leg - where you can't get good access once welded in.
Image
Then weld through paint for the spot weld joins
Image
Now in place

I have made the right choice in using Richy legg for the restoration, it's coming along very nicely and I can not wait to get it back for the fun of putting all the mech parts back and of course its first time back on the road for 5 years or so :P
