thanks Declan, i saw your post for the reverse switch on the gator. its a great idea.

yeah mike i tried my best in mounting it close to the bumper without making it looking ugly and all.

Thank you all for your valuable advice i really appreciate it loads.

My plan involved using a pair of SPDT relays to turn both rear indicators on permanently... with 21W bulbs in each the light is yellow but just as bright as one white one. Then the back of the car looks stock and there's no wires to run thru the car.
All the wires end up inside the glovebox so its easy to do. The hard part seems to be making the switch setup... but I got round this by fitting a toyota box which is equipped with one anyway!

but i could not do that for mine as my lamp assembly is the early full red type.
