Just got an Escort TDI estate Ray. Insurance is £420 a year so not too bad... Having said that my transit renewal has just come through at a very amount :o

Shame I cant get more than 35mpg out of it at the moment (investigation is required)

renault magane 1.5 dti £35 a yr road tax 56 mpg fairly nippy and easy to sell when you finish with it my old man has one and cant get him to part with it for my other half

That has surprised me. I insured my van very cheaply with Commercial Vehicle Direct.

I wouldnt be without it now, a very handy, reliable van.

my daily runner is a peugeot 306 turbo diesel 1998 modle and im doing 35 mile a day and see returns me around 40/42 mpg we went to cornwall in july and at a seed of 70/80/mph she returned me 50/52 mpg and they are cheap enough and plenty of them on ebay
