I thought Billing was a good venue too (not just because I came 2nd in the blinfolded driving challenge - I guess H&S killed off that event...). Seemed an ideal purpose made venue for motoring events, and being a campsite had plenty of proper loos and showers too! I'm guessing that the cost of hiring the venue was why we never returned, but I don't really know.JuNK512G wrote:Been to nearly every National since '86 & the most memorable was Billing Aquadrome, Northampton organised by the late wonderful Pete Ball.

Re: National Rally 2010 - Location?
I thought I'd post this here.
I have a question about the entry form this year. Under section 3 it asks about a second car, so do we get one free for camping then pay for a second? It also asks about the number of cars going in section 4, so if we take 2 cars do we have to pay extra for camping per night then again for entry to the site? This year the folks are taking the modern cube with all the kit in it and David McCullough and I are taking my Minor. The Modern rubbish will sit beside the tent for the weekend and not move, so do we have to pay for it twice and then the Minor? Does that make sense???
