I've tried the beads of weld on the ramps technique and it helps a little but not all that much ... I think what I really need is a couple of hundredweight weights to sit under the ramps.
I have two sets, one looks pretty old (nice thick heavy metal) and the other is a set I found chucked on a skip ... seemed a shame to let them go to the tip ;)
Both sets have the same problem with scooting along ... IIRC it's mostly the front which has the problem, since the driven rear wheels pull the ramps under.
