Hi all lots of info how easy would it be to get an instrument with a KPH dial and change it with the MPH one. This would no doubt get around the TPM compatabillity problem. Or order a dial fromSpeedy Cables if they would supply just a dial.

The dial can be swapped - but you have to get the pointer off - and back on again to make the swap. That is unlikely to happen easily with the pointer back exactly where it should be.
What TPM is on your speedo at the moment 'aulnay' ? Assuming it is 1408 (standard for a 1098) that would equate to 880 TPK. So you would need to search for a Mini speedo with around that reading.
'Speedy Cables' are likely to be quite expensive!!
Simple alternative is to make your own KPH markings on the existing dial with Typex - or some form of stick-on numbers !

I used to make prototype gauges with the scaling done with Letraset-long time ago though. It might be still available.
