I used Go Compare and my cheapest quote was £63 (Fully comp, with no no-claims) through a company called 1st Quote. They insured me with Chaucer.

Has anyone else tried this?

Blimey! that's cheap! :o

I currently pay £103 through AON on a collector's policy (fully comp but limited mileage) and £109 for Gracie (bog standard 1098) 3rd party F&T to be used daily (about 10,000 miles I think) - not with AON.

What DID bug me is that my renewal for Gracie came through at £135 so I went on confused.com and the lowest quote was £105 FROM THE SAME BL***Y COMPANY!!!! :o :o

EDIT: Just tried that go compare and I get the same as I did with confused.com

Same here £103 through AON/FJ on a collector's policy but we're fully comp with unlimited mileage.

AON/FJ would not give me unlimited mileage on a collector's policy which is why I was forced to go elsewhere for my everyday car. Still with AON/FJ for the rest of the 'fleet'.

Unfortunately my daily car is with FJ with limited milage. it's at 4.5k.
Though I'm off to uni in september so won't be using it much after that, but it still could prove a bit awkward.

My two are on FJ, fully comprehensive, unlimited mileage and two other drivers on the policy. Currently paying £166 - I've yet to find out if it will go up following Lintilla's argument with a Volvo last year!

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Interesting...

Might have to get on the phone in a month or so when I have to renew.
