When I worked at Cowley as a jig & tool design draughtsman they were everywhere, and now......Peetee wrote:As a draftsman and Minor enthusiast I would be very interested.![]()
I've often wondered if such things still exist.

Anyway I hope you get a good price for them, they're worth it.

Seeing that they are high head light and 4 door, it's obvious they are not the original drawings. It seems odd that the company would bother drawing them after the fact. They were possibly the original 4 door drawings, drawings made for manuals, or some standard document effort after the merger. The 30 foot length is interesting. Probably had more than one draftsman (or is it draughtsman, sorry we use draft for both uses) Hopefully, someone still has print size copiers to make copies.
Originals, if that's what you like to call them, were done on a form of thick tracing paper, linen, or film, these are prints from those originals, Ahh, I can still smell the amonia now
Actually it should also be possible to date them, as we all had to sign and date the originals.

The paper was on large rolls that were fed through with the original. At the end, it was cut with a wire 'cheese cutter'. Eye watering certainly sums it up.

Geofizz I had to re register as it appears I was blocked...
