You can also get a "Chrome" spray. I had mixed results with it but find it best applied when warm and in several very thin coats. It also needs a long time to dry - something like 24 hrs, so don't be tempted to touch it to see if its dry after an hourmarkc wrote:I have seen bumpers painted in silver Hammerite..i think they look ok but use the spray its much better finish.

Today i tried some of the autosol chrome polish and i suppose there is definately a difference but goping back for the rust kit which has a primer in it and then the hammerite spray. This will prob have to do until i can afford new ones because the money i have i want to get all of the important bits done first. Have added the bumpers to my wish list!!
