I believe that the law states it cannot be more than 100mm at its deepest.
You can spray them on if you want them in body colour but you need to sand the glass!!!
You can still get them on the isle of man I think (obviously saying IOM things) there is a member I was speaking to at the 60th from the IOM with a couple of minors who ran a karting team called wade racing I think, maybe he could be contacted via the club as I dont think he comes on here.
One thing that ive found with them is that once they have been on there the wording will always come up in the condensation ive tried lots and next I think ill try ammonia because I tknow that is a killer for tinted windows.
P.s. My 63 'Mona' is originally a manxie (from the IOM) originally 8313 MN and now re-registered on a wiltshire age related plate.

Update: Having done some research into this it would appear that using one of these will now mean an MOT test failure as it blocks the driver's visibility. Nothing is allowed to interfer with the "swept area" of the windscreen wipers. One of these stickers would do that,(new MOT rules). I would hate a member to be failed due to something I sold - hence the idea has been shelved.

Tinting strips are allowed - our concern is more with opaque lettering on the strip.
The unswept area at the top of the screen in front of the driver on a 1098 minor is only about 3cm (I measured it) That doesn't leave a lot of room for lettering.

I must agree that I too have concerns with any lettering on these strips. However the company does supply plain ones.
